YADBAR began with a simple observation: most companies in Egypt move fast and break things. They ship products before they understand the problem. They scale before they find product-market fit. They build before they think.
We wanted to build a different kind of company — one that pauses, studies, and then moves with conviction.
The name يَدَّبَّرْ comes from the Arabic root دبر — the back, the aftermath, the consequence of an action. To "YADBAR" is to think forward into the consequences before you begin. It is the mental act of a builder who respects the weight of what they are creating.
We are a holding group. We build companies, not features. We invest in ideas that have long time horizons and the potential to contribute to something larger than a balance sheet — what Arabic calls عمارة الأرض: the civilizational act of building the earth.
